these “new fans aren’t true fans” mentality is so dumb and gross and it just makes ppl NOT want to actively enjoy that subject also there’s no need to create a fucking hierarchy in fandoms and decide for other ppl what they can enjoy. it should be a group of people getting together to enjoy this subject regardless of who they are
